Community Guidelines

Welcome to Steadprep Social, a gathering place for homesteaders, farmers, ranchers, off-gridders, survivalists and more. This is your space to connect, learn, and grow together as a community.

To ensure everyone enjoys a positive, productive, safe experience, we ask that all members follow these guidelines.

We are a zero tolerance place when it comes to the rules and guidelines.

Rules & Guidelines for the website, forums, chat and groups:

1. Please share our page and help us grow!! Share: steadprep.com

2. Be respectful, kind and polite! There will be no bullying, personal attacks, putting each other down, no rude comments, no arguing, hate speech, discriminatory, harassment, inappropriate comments or content and no drama. This will not be tolerated. If you don't like something someone said or posted, move on by. We’re all adults. Act like it please… If someone is misbehaving badly, we encourage members to report them. Reach out to us

3. The team here at Steadprep Social are in no way liable for any transactions between yourself and another member of this community. We do not encourage private sales, arrangements, private meetings, exchanges etc but if you choose to do so, you do so at your own risk! By remaining a member of this community you are agreeing to these terms.

4. Please keep groups on topic. The main group "General Bonfire Chat" is for all the fun off topic stuff. Share whatever you'd like here. Daily life, the weather, your latest endeavor, a project you're working on, etc... If you’re unsure where to post something, Reach out to us.

5. The website is for US residents who are 18 years of age or older.

6. No harassment or soliciting of our members!

7. No promoting of other similar sites without approval.

8. No promoting of products/businesses other than in the group "Marketplace". This is permitted in that group but can be removed at admins discretion if it gets out of hand or too often. You can post information about who you are, what you raise, make, sell, etc and what your business or farm is. You may also mention your OWN farm or business page on social media. You can also place a classified ad. Have questions about this? Reach out to us.

9. Rules may be changed or updated on an as needed basis, but we do our best not to ever change them! If we do, we will post a notification of a rule change.

10. Be mindful and respect the privacy of other fellow members. Do not share anyone's personal information, photo's, videos or location without consent of the member. Be cautious about sharing your own private details in community discussions.

11. Keep the community safe and clean. Refrain from posting inappropriate, explicit, or harmful content. Content promoting illegal activities, hate, violence, or sexual content of any kind will result in immediate remove and possible banning of your account.

12. Be honest and helpful. Share accurate, practical advice and experiences. If you're unsure of information, make that clear in your post or state that it's your opinion to avoid confusion or spreading inaccurate help or information. It's okay to say you're not positive. NONE of us know everything! Don't act like you do. It's okay to ask for feedback or help, just be open to constructive criticism. It's a great way to learn.

13. Follow the moderator and admins instructions. They work hard to keep the community safe and thriving. Be respectful of their decisions and guidance. If you disagree with moderations, reach out directly to admins privately or through the contact form to discuss your concerns.

14. Help us build and maintain a positive environment. Celebrate each other's successes big or small. Contribute by asking thoughtful questions, offering advice and supporting each other. Use encouragement over criticism whenever possible. Be empathetic and compassionate when others are experiencing challenging our hard times.

15. Just be a decent human being.

Rules & Guidelines for Dating

1. Be yourself and be real. When filling out your profile, use a real photo of yourself. Not one from 15 years ago or one that's not really you.

2. Be honest and truthful. Don't lie on your profile or about your relationship status. Trust us, the person always finds out anyway. So just be honest and you never know, someone out there may be ok with whatever it is. You're never going to find the right person if it's starting off already with lies.

3. Be kind and polite! There will be no bullying, putting each other down, no rude comments, no arguing, hate speech, discriminatory, harassment, inappropriate comments or content and no drama. This will not be tolerated. If you don't like something someone said or posted, or are upset they turned you down or became uninterested then move on by. We’re all adults. Act like it please… If someone is misbehaving badly, we encourage members to report them. Reach out to us.

4. Upload and share appropriate photos. No nudity or sexual content. No children or minors. We know you have that wonderful photo of you and the kids but please find a different photo to use. You can share these images later if you and your match move off of the platform. No violence or graphic images. Nothing that shows personal information. No copyrighted images. Make sure they are yours to use.

5. No illegal activity, scamming, asking for money, gift cards or items. You'll be banned and possibly reported to the authorities. No posting of socials, only fans, links outside of the community.

6. Although it's not a rule, we encourage you to use photos that don't have heavy filters on them, with sunglasses or large hats, or show a group of people. It's hard to see who you really are or which one is you from these types of photos.

7. We also encourage you to fill out your bio. It's proven that empty bios or ones with very little written on them, get looked over or "swiped left" more often than those who take the time to actually fill it out. This is especially important for the guys. Plus it gives you something to talk about or use to break the ice.

8. Read the bios of others. This helps to determine even more if you're a good fit for each other.

9. Adults only. You must be 18 years of age or older to be a member of this community.

10. Don't ghost people. We're all over it already. It's completely fine just to reply back that you don't think you're a good fit for each other or that your situation has changed. And definitely do not ghost someone when you have scheduled a date with them. Multiple reports of this and you will be banned.

11. Have fun, relax and be open to things and you may be surprised at who you "person" ends up being.

Reporting Violations Or Behaviors

If you feel that someone needs to be reported, Reach out to us. You will remain anonymous. We do not share the information with the member who was reported. Ever.

Consequences for Rule or Guideline Violations

First violation: A reminder or warning from moderators or admins.
Second violation: Temporary suspension or restricted access for your account.
Repeat or severe violations: Permanent removal of your account and any future accounts from the community.
