Apple Tree Grafting Class 101: presented by Farmer David Hughes of Rock Bridge Trees will be offered on Saturday, March 22, 2025 and Saturday, April 5, 2025 from 1:00pm – 3:00pm at Rock Bridge Tree Nursery located at 199 Dry Fork Creek Road, Bethpage, TN 37022.
Learn about the mysterious art of grafting trees from our resident grafting expert, Farmer David Hughes. Farmer Dave will discuss the basic biology and physiology of grafting. He will go over the tools used in grafting apple trees and the correct process of sharpening your grafting knives. Before grafting your own apple tree to take home, Farmer Dave will cover different types of grafting and demonstrate some of those techniques. Once the class is completed, we will offer a tour of Rock Bridge Trees Nursery and Pecan Orchard (if weather permits).
